We’re excited to welcome Conscious Entrepreneurs, founded by Clare Morris, to the Play It Green community.
Conscious Entrepreneurs is a membership platform and learning hub supporting founders who are building businesses with purpose. It offers a space to grow in confidence, connect with like-minded people, and access the practical tools needed to succeed in a values-led way.
Now, by joining Play It Green’s Climate Positive Workforce, Conscious Entrepreneurs is taking its impact even further. Every month, we plant trees, mangroves, and sea kelp on their behalf. The team also receives weekly sustainability education and personalised support to help build greener habits and work towards Net Zero.
Conscious Entrepreneurs has chosen to support One Woman at a Time, a charity that empowers women and girls through education and training. This means 10% of the subscription goes directly to driving positive social change, alongside the environmental work.
We caught up with Clare to hear more about her work and what led her to take this green step.
Tell us a little about Conscious Entrepreneurs and the work you do.
Conscious Entrepreneurs is a membership community and learning hub for founders who are building businesses focused on people, the planet, and purpose. I created this initiative because I believe that business can be a force for good. However, purpose-driven entrepreneurs often feel isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure about their next steps.
We provide practical workshops, insightful coaching, and a supportive environment where members can connect with others who understand their journey. Whether someone is trying to balance their values with the challenges of running a business or simply wants to create something that reflects their identity, we are here to support them.
Why is sustainability important to Conscious Entrepreneurs?
Sustainability is ingrained in our identity; it’s not just a trendy term but a fundamental mindset. We are committed to growing responsibly, prioritising care for ourselves, one another, and the planet. Many of our members are already making conscious decisions regarding their supply chains, packaging, and partnerships, and we fully support and encourage these efforts.
By joining Play It Green, we aim to lead by example and demonstrate that even small businesses and communities can create a meaningful and measurable impact.
What inspired you to join the Play It Green community?
The ethos of Play It Green resonates deeply with us. It’s not just about planting trees; it’s about building habits, repairing damage, and giving back to communities in a tangible and practical way. I appreciate that this initiative isn’t performative – it’s real.
Being part of Play It Green provides our community with an easy and accessible opportunity to take climate action, learn more, and feel connected to a broader mission. It seemed like the natural next step for us.
What does the future look like for Conscious Entrepreneurs?
Our vision is to cultivate a connected, compassionate, and courageous community of founders dedicated to making a positive impact. We will continue to offer coaching and workshops, but we are also exploring new ways to support the mental and business health of purpose-driven entrepreneurs.
This may include developing regional hubs, forming new collaborations, or providing deeper resources on ethical decision-making and sustainable growth. Throughout this journey, we will remain committed to the belief that conducting business responsibly should not be a solitary endeavour and must always consider the planet in our decisions.
