Glenn Evans, Group Head of Sustainability at Noble Foods, said, “This partnership represents a meaningful step in our Net Zero journey.” The units can cut fleet emissions by up to 3,120 tonnes over their lifetime and save more than £1.1 million in operating costs.
The Sunswap technology proved 100 per cent reliable during trials on rural routes, showing that sustainable logistics can be both efficient and economical.
By bringing solar energy to egg deliveries, Happy Egg has shown that even everyday products can travel cleaner, greener, and cheaper, setting a new benchmark for low-carbon food transport.
