Juntos: Introduction
We’re pleased to welcome Juntos to the Play It Green community.
Based in Holborn, Juntos is a new community-focused workspace created as an alternative to traditional offices and transactional coworking. Built around togetherness, transparency and shared responsibility, the space has been designed to support connection, wellbeing and long-term value.
From day one, they have chosen to embed sustainability and social impact into how the business operates. Through its Climate Positive Workforce partnership with Play It Green, the company is providing its team with ongoing sustainability education, practical guidance and signposting to more sustainable products and services, supporting behaviour change at work and beyond.
Alongside this, they are linking growth directly to impact. Trees, mangroves and sea kelp are planted for every desk and private office sold, ensuring nature repair scales in line with commercial success. Ten per cent of all associated revenues are given to The Lord’s Taverners, embedding social impact into every sale.
This partnership brings together workforce engagement, nature repair and social good in a single model, connecting culture, customers and commercial activity in a practical, measurable way.
We recently caught up with Mark Gregson, co-founder of Juntos Offices, to talk about the thinking behind Juntos, how togetherness shows up in practice and what the future holds.
Please tell us a little about Juntos and what you do.
Juntos, which means ‘together’ in Spanish, is a purpose-driven coworking community, based around a set of real, relatable values. We are big on how we make people feel!
Why is sustainability important to Juntos Offices and the way you operate as a business?
I am extremely conscious about the world which my children will inherit. It all starts with better supply chain choices and ethical purchasing. Using a sustainability partner such as ‘Play it Green’ allows us to rebalance any negative environmental impact which is out of our control and repair damaged ecosystems and create employment at the same time!
Why did you decide to join Play It Green?
It’s all down to their Founder, Richard Dickson. He’s an all round good guy, from top to bottom. He’s a hard-working family man and we are very well aligned on our goals for the future.
What does the future hold for Juntos?
With our new site opening in Holborn late March and two sites under refurbishment (Chancery Lane and Stratford), following our acquisition of Divisible Space, we have our hands full for the next 12 months. Next year, we would like to open up two further sites and take the business to mainland Europe.
