LinkyThinks: Introduction
We’re proud to shine a spotlight on LinkyThinks, an education company that’s changing the way children learn and approach education. With a fresh approach that blends English language, visual arts, neuroscience and emotional literacy, they’ve made creativity & confidence central to learning.
And now, with Play It Green by their side, their mission includes making a positive impact on the planet too.

Rethinking Education
At the core of LinkyThinks is the belief that learning should develop the whole child, not just their exam technique. Their teaching methods & learning resources approach learning in a way that ensures the attainment of inherently human life skills, like critical thinking, social literacy and communication, alongside English-language curriculum topics – for children as young as seven years old!
These tools come in both physical and digital formats, making learning more accessible and enjoyable for children across the world. Since 2019, their physical resources have been used in classrooms across English-speaking countries, earning praise from parents and educators alike.

In January 2024, they added a new chapter by launching their new LinkyThinks digital learning platform (LinkyThinks.com), which has already reached children throughout the English-speaking world. With downloadable digital resources designed to make support exam skills as life skills, the LinkyThinks platform is helping bring their creative learning methods to even more young minds.
Thousands of teachers, parents, and schools have already adopted their resources, and it’s easy to see why. They’re useful, creative, and built to help children thrive.
Meet the Founders
LinkyThinks was created by Alexander Rosenberg as a concept in 2013, when trying to formulate teaching methods & resources that actually TAUGHT rather than just TESTING children.
Over time, Alexander devised ways of supporting his own tutoring pupils to move through their school journeys with improved language, emotional, social & critical literacy skills by combining his expertise in visual arts, neuroscience research & English-language education – Linking Different Ways of Thinking!

In 2021 Alexander’s brothers joined LinkyThinks to take the company vision to the next level – Dan as CEO, Oliver as Operations Director for two years – all three being motivated by the importance of meaningful, impactful education from an early age.
Together, they’ve helped more than 2,000 schools and tens of thousands of children access a more human way of learning.

Why Sustainability Matters
In 2022, LinkyThinks joined Play It Green’s Climate Positive Workforce programme to align their operations with purpose-led sustainability. It’s a partnership that’s more than tree planting. It’s about reducing their footprint, repairing the planet, and regiving to good causes.
Each ‘LinkyThinker’ receives weekly tips on how to reduce their personal and business footprint, with everything from energy-saving to eco-friendly habits. To repair the planet, 10 trees, mangroves and sea kelp are planted every month for every employee, creating long-term climate impact. And 10% of LinkyThinks’ subscription goes to the Woodland Trust, helping protect UK habitats and wildlife.
Through the programme, the LinkyThinks team also gets access to policy templates, net zero planning tools, and curated signposting to expert providers for everything from carbon footprint reporting to green energy. All LinkyThinks products are made in the UK using carbon-balanced materials, and for every 10 products sold, another tree, mangrove or sea kelp is planted in Senegal, Kenya or Canada.
It’s a clear example of business doing good in a way that’s practical, meaningful and built for scale.

Growing Through Purpose
Since formally launching in 2021, LinkyThinks has experienced steady growth. They secured early-stage investment with a strong pitch, backed by detailed financial plans and consistent outreach. Their digital platform was a major milestone and has opened doors to new global markets.
Sustainability has been a major part of this journey. Their climate-positive actions have added value to their brand, attracted environmentally aware customers and investors, and created goodwill across the education sector.
More than just offsetting impact, their tree planting and eco-conscious manufacturing have helped them stand out in a crowded space. It’s a smart move, with heart.

Looking Ahead
The ambition is clear. Already on track to become a household name in education, their purpose is to support as many children as possible to attain the skills needed to access social mobility, career fulfilment & economic opportunity. They plan to do this without losing sight of their values; innovation and impact will continue to go hand in hand.
Their partnership with Play It Green is just one part of that. But it’s an important one. It shows that business growth can come with a conscience, and that good ideas, when backed by good intentions, really can go far.

Play it Green allows us to do what we do, whilst allowing us to leave the world a better place than how we found it.
