Mission Search: Introduction
We’re pleased to welcome Mission Search to the Play It Green community. Founded by Paul Hill, Mission Search is a specialist recruitment partner for mission-driven organisations, helping purpose-led employers build strong teams across corporate services and leadership.
The business works with organisations across education, charity, health and social care, healthcare, social housing, mission-driven tech and B Corp, supporting roles in HR, finance, operations, legal, marketing, governance and senior leadership. What stands out is the clarity of the model. Mission Search is built around that need, helping values-led organisations find people who can deliver, lead and grow with purpose.
It feels like a very natural fit for Play It Green, and Paul’s decision to support North West Air Ambulance adds a strong local community dimension too. The Air Ambulance offers such an important and life-saving service and gets no government funding, so this support is critical.
We recently caught up with Paul to learn more about Mission Search, the thinking behind the business and what comes next for our latest Play It Green community member.
Please tell us a little about Mission Search and what you do.
Mission Search was set up to help purpose-led organisations find the best talent to enable them to achieve their ambitions. We work exclusively with mission-driven organisations to provide valuable market insights and solve their hiring challenges. Alongside this, we support candidates who are passionate about securing roles that align with their own values and purpose. We hire across the UK for both Non-profit and For-profit purpose-led organisations.
Why did you decide to join Play It Green?
When I met Richard at Play It Green, I believe I described joining as a ‘No Brainer’! I have never seen such a simple yet effective way of driving a good cause from your organisation. Plus, as we grow, we can tie nature repair and social impact into our sales process, meaning our positive impact will grow as we do.
What does the future hold for Mission Search?
We are still a very new business, but we’ve already successfully built teams across various sectors, including charities, education, B Corps, and health & social care. The future for us is to continue doing this, but the exciting part is the positive impact these teams will have by delivering on the purpose of their organisation. That’s exponential and super exciting to know we’ve been a part of that.
