ONLE Networking: Introduction
ONLE Networking has been part of the Play It Green community for some time, and it has been impressive to watch the business grow without losing the human culture that made it successful in the first place. Founded in 2018 by Kelly and James West, ONLE has built a global online network rooted in genuine, non-transactional relationships rather than forced referrals or rigid structures.
Now, as ONLE continues to expand across the UK, Ireland and into the US, it is introducing the option for members to support nature repair and social impact through Play It Green. It is a measured step forward that connects commercial growth with credible impact, while keeping member choice at the centre.
We spoke with the team about how ONLE has evolved and why this move makes sense now.

Can a relationship-first network scale without losing its edge?
Since launching in January 2018, ONLE Networking has grown to operate 29 online regional meetings, 24 in the UK, 2 in Ireland and 3 in the US, with further expansion underway. That growth has been steady rather than explosive, and that has protected what matters most to the founders: culture.
ONLE was created around the belief that people are endlessly interesting and full of potential, and that networking should feel supportive rather than pressured. The network is intentionally inclusive, with no tolerance for discrimination and a clear commitment to building a community where people feel welcomed regardless of background, location or business type.
That clarity of identity is what has allowed ONLE to scale without dilution.
Why introduce the impact option now?
ONLE Networking joined Play It Green through the Climate Positive Workforce subscription, investing in education and practical sustainability guidance internally. As the network has grown, the next logical step has been to extend that opportunity outward.
Members will now have the option to support nature repair and social impact through Play It Green. That means those who want to connect their business activity with measurable environmental and social outcomes can do so in a simple and credible way, without changing the core networking experience.
Importantly, it remains an option. ONLE has not embedded it as a default add-on. That respects autonomy while still offering a structured pathway for members who want to act.
ONLE’s chosen charity is Minstead Trust, focused on removing barriers for people with learning disabilities and autism.
From a commercial perspective, this move reflects where expectations are heading. Membership-based businesses are increasingly judged not only on value delivered but on the values they enable. Offering a credible impact option strengthens positioning without adding friction.
What comes next?
The networking sector has become fragmented in recent years, and online networking has moved firmly to the forefront. ONLE intends to remain at the head of that space by protecting its culture while continuing to expand.
As the network grows across borders, giving members the ability to align business relationships with positive impact adds another layer of relevance. It is not about turning networking into a sustainability pitch. It is about recognising that modern professionals increasingly want business and responsibility to sit alongside each other.
ONLE Networking: Wrap-Up
ONLE Networking demonstrates that relationship-led business and commercial ambition can scale together. The network has expanded across the UK and into the US and Ireland while maintaining clarity of identity, and it is now giving members a practical way to connect business growth with measurable impact.
For membership-based businesses, that balance matters. Growth does not need to compete with responsibility. When structured carefully, it can support it, and ONLE is taking that step in a way that feels aligned, credible and commercially intelligent.

“I have watched ONLE Networking grow from an idea into an international network built on genuine relationships. What stands out is that the growth has not come at the expense of culture.
