Ohana Mua Holiday Parks: Introduction
We’re thrilled to welcome Ohana Mua to the Play It Green community! Ohana Mua is a Cornwall-based holiday park operator that prioritises sustainability and offers unique retreats combining modern wellness practices with deep respect for the natural environment. By joining our Climate Positive Workforce initiative, they’re stepping up their commitment to footprint reduction, nature repair and social impact.
Each team member will receive weekly guidance on greener choices, and every month a mix of trees, mangroves, and sea kelp will be planted on their behalf. Ten percent of all revenue generated for Play It Green by Ohana Mua will go to their chosen charity, The Wildlife Trust.
They’ve also adopted our Climate Positive Bookings initiative in partnership with Elite Parks and Elite Marinas. Now, each reservation includes nature-based solutions to restore nature and create employment. It’s a simple way for holidaymakers to do something good for the planet every time they book.

Ohana Mua was founded on a simple yet powerful idea: that family comes first. Inspired by the Hawaiian word “Ohana,” which means family, our founders set out to create more than just holiday parks—they envisioned welcoming destinations where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
We are redefining the UK holiday park experience by combining sustainability, innovation, and exceptional guest service. With a commitment to creating unforgettable stays, we are developing a collection of high-quality, eco-conscious parks, beginning with our first park at The Vale, Peakswater in Looe, Cornwall. Our approach blends outstanding hospitality with technology and sustainable design, ensuring every guest enjoys a truly special and responsible getaway.

Our strategy includes acquiring and developing a number of parks over the next decade in various locations across the UK. Each park will be designed to offer premium accommodation, immersive guest experiences, and sustainability practices.
Technology will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences—whether through seamless booking, personalised recommendations, or effortless check-ins—while ensuring guests can still switch off and reconnect with nature. By blending innovation with the natural environment, we aim to create truly memorable escapes where guests can relax, explore, and feel at home.
