That line matters because convenience still shapes most consumer choices. Since BuyBack launched in 2023, more than 10,000 items have been returned, and Decathlon has seen a 300% increase in online searches for bike buy-backs over the past year. ReLondon’s recent research adds urgency, showing that Brits bin 335 million items each year that could have been repaired. That is six items per person.
The Crown Estate plans a 6GW offshore wind leasing round in 2027

Katie-jo Luxton said stronger evidence on bird feeding grounds is key to securing “the best outcome for seabirds and a faster consenting process for industry.”
