In our latest exciting news, Play It Green is proud to welcome Bow Gifts to our amazing community.

We recently caught up with the founder and CEO Emily Newstead to find out more about this fantastic business and what the future holds for Bow Gifts.

Please, tell us a little about Bow Gifts

We’re here to change the way that companies access this industry and turn the right branded merchandise into your offline marketing strategy! Great merchandise should be an extension of your brand story and everything you stand for. It’s a company’s ‘walking billboard’ for years to come, in someone’s home or office. It’s important that companies know how merchandise can truly do the heavy lifting for their brand.

Why is sustainability important to Bow Gifts?

There’s too much ‘useless tat’ out there! I genuinely believe that you can use branded merchandise in a resourceful way and buy something for the end user that they would have bought for themselves. Then, you’ve not only saved them time and money, but you’ve made your merch intentional. There are so many incredible sustainable products in the industry that you can’t always access easily on the high street. Not only are you increasing the options available, but you’re also providing something useful with eco credentials to boot. It’s a win-win.

Why did you decide to collaborate with Play It Green?

It’s a great cause and drives an incredibly ethical purpose. Companies want to be part of positive change, so it’s a no-brainer when something as fantastic as Play It Green comes along. You can add value to the environment and use some of your company profit positively for the world around us too.

What does the future hold for Bow Gifts?

Getting companies to buy better and showing them what ‘good’ looks like. For far too long, the merchandise industry has gotten companies into ‘quote hoarding’ and a race to the bottom on price, which can also result in poorer-quality products as well. It’s high time companies had something better to plug into and made merchandise as much of a strategy, as their digital marketing.
