In our latest exciting news, Play It Green is proud to welcome CMR Focus and Growth to our amazing, growing community.
CMR Focus and Growth helps businesses get through periods of growth, change, restructuring, and misalignment with their brand.
The company is run by Clare Morris, an expert business mentor and developer who works with businesses to drive engagement and communication.
Now CMR Focus and Growth has a climate positive workforce, access to sustainability support and a network of sustainable suppliers and service providers. Not only that, but the company is planting 10 trees per team member and regiving 10% back to its nominated charity, Friends of the Earth.
Clare has been described as a sounding board, advisor, problem solver, and creative thinker and we recently caught up with her to find out more about CMR Focus and Growth.
Please, tell us a little about CMR Focus and Growth
I started the business when I was made redundant, and initially was working as an outsourced resource to creative businesses who were struggling with their social engagement, brand connection and purpose.
This grew into a deeper level of business development that took the traditional SWOT analysis, Business Model Canvas, and Marketing Brief and tailored it to a more emotionally intelligent way of working. Specifically for those who don’t want to be put through the “one size fits all” business growth methods.
Changing the bits that are fundamental to your success. Things like connection, working habits, brand understanding.
And juicy stuff, like how to change the way you work (smart not hard) and how to prime your mindset for growth.
Why is sustainability important to CMR Focus and Growth?
As a child of the 60’s I’ve grown up as a consumer of plastic products, fossil fuels, and mass-produced meat. I’ve also listened to 50 years of what needs to change. I have been involved in marches, signed petitions, and cried a lot. So now, as well as my own changed behaviours, I am aligning myself with organisations that give me even more opportunities to make a difference – sustainably.
Why did CMR Focus and Growth decide to collaborate with Play It Green?
Play It Green offers many layers of collective influence. My collaboration allows me to support a regenerative impact on the planet, connect with equally impactful organisations, and a place to search for more solutions to sustainability questions.
What does the future hold for CMR Focus and Growth?
A lot. As well as Focus & Growth, I am also the proud developer of an organisation called Conscious Entrepreneurs. An online community of entrepreneurs changing the world every day. My goals are to create a platform of connectivity that supports growth, funding, good business practice, and kindness.
We are in need of a space to call our own, where we feel safe, and heard and that our actions are making a difference.
