3 step solution - Reduce Repair Regive

Please, tell us a little about The Tiny Housing Company

The Tiny Housing Co is a sustainable, compact housing modular builder for the housing & leisure industry.

Our focus is on passive house principles, net-positive designs, and utilising natural materials to create super-insulated homes that don’t cost the earth, or the pocket.

Why is sustainability important to you?

Sustainability is at the core of our business; our aim is to reduce waste down to zero, be carbon neutral across the board of our business, and create homes or cabins that produce more energy than they need, supporting our efforts to fight climate change.

Why did you decide to collaborate with Play It Green?

We felt that Play It Green’s ethos aligned much with our own, and as a company that actively advocates for behavioural change within a company & communities, is something we see as a game-changer in this space.

What does the future hold for The Tiny Housing Company?

A lot is happening this year, with new design launches, holiday let stays opening in December 2022 situated on the edge of the beautiful Peak District.

We aim to launch more cabins in 2023, helping to create net-positive glamping sites around the UK.

Quotes

Dane Smith-Burchnell, Co Founder of The Tiny Housing Company said:

‘We at The Tiny Housing Co, believe in doing our part for the world, in particular the environment and people.

A part of our core ethos is to benefit those that use our homes and the ripple effect that comes from it, chiefly a reduction in co2 emissions, sustainable material usage and reducing waste, saving owners money in their energy bills and becoming more self sufficient.

The impact of these things can drastically change one’s behaviour, and promote a healthier, better way to live and do business.

When I came across Play it Green, we instantly felt the same connection with them and their approach to business.

Together, we are sure that we can all benefit from this amazing network of like minded organisations and individuals, to make a better tomorrow.’

Richard Dickson, Play It Green’s Co-Founder said:

“I met Dane and his Co-Founder at a tree planting event and right away realised we shared values.

When I heard about their amazing Tiny Homes and how they truly reduce energy use, cost and impact, it was clear that our businesses shared the same values too.

These houses have the capability to provide holiday parks with a unique place to stay and local councils the opportunity to provide low cost living.

It’s exciting to see where the Tiny Housing Company will go.”

Play It Green helps people and businesses to lower their footprints on a gentle journey of sustainable change, whilst having a positive environmental and social impact on the way.
