We are excited to announce our latest partnership with VJR Business Support. VJR Business Support is a dynamic Accountancy and Administration agency founded by Victoria Russell. The company excels in helping businesses streamline their operations and enhance their efficiency through expert administrative and business support services. VJR Business Support will actively participate in our weekly sustainability education. The education is focused on reducing their environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices within their operations and personal lives. To support their green journey, Play It Green will plant a variety of trees, mangroves, and sea kelp each month for the team. This reinforces our shared commitment to ecological restoration and carbon reduction.
In demonstrating their dedication to community and social responsibility, VJR Business Support has chosen to support Mind. They do this by regiving 10% of their subscription fees to this respected charity.

Please, tell us a little about VJR Business Support
Prior to founding VJR Business Support in 2016, I’d always worked with firms where I did a bit of everything. I’d look after the finances, administration, sales etc. So when it came to launching VJR it didn’t make sense to pigeonhole us to just one category, hence why I called the business VJR Business Support rather than VJR Bookkeeping.
To begin with, it was just me part-time, running the business around family life and a full-time job. But since then the firm has grown and I have a wonderful team of associates who help look after our amazing clients. Mostly we support entrepreneurs and limited companies. Business owners who often have more than one company and who need a little bit of help and support with the day-to-day so they can focus on growth and success.
Why is sustainability important to VJR Business Support?
Sustainability has always been a personal passion of mine. As VJR Business Support expands, I’ve decided to formally make it one of our core company values. It’s the right thing to do for the environment, aligns with what customers and employees increasingly care about, and reduces waste while improving efficiency long-term.
By embedding sustainable practices across our operations, energy use and more, we aim to minimise our environmental footprint. Moreover, leading by example on sustainability helps inspire other businesses. It also leaves a positive legacy for building a sustainable future that makes our stakeholders proud.
Why did VJR Business Support decide to collaborate with Play It Green?
I was introduced to Play it Green by a colleague who sang the merits of what they do. They did this as they knew we were looking at ways we could improve our impact on the environment.
I met with Richard, one of the co-founders and I was sold!
We’ve already made a pledge to purchase 10 trees for each new client that signs up with us over the next 12 months. Furthermore, we’ve chosen to support MIND as it’s a charity that is close to our hearts having had family members who’ve suffered in the past.
What does the future hold for VJR Business Support?
The next 12 months will (hopefully) bring a lot of growth for VJR as we expand our team and services. Certain services often get requested that we currently don’t offer, so watch this space! That’s all I can say for now.
But I can share with you that I am partnering up with some colleagues to launch a non-profit that supports underprivileged and disadvantaged teenagers between 16-21.
